Culture & Cocktails: A Holiday in Camelot | December 14 | 5 – 8 pm

Shake up your museum experience with an eclectic mix of culinary treats and cultural entertainment!

Holiday event featuring the Avedon portraits of JFK and his family on loan from the Smithsonian, our annual gingerbread exhibit, festive cocktails and entertainment.

The highlight of the evening is a live performance by the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks sextet, exploring the musical journey of saxophonist Paul Winter during his 1962 U. S. State Department tour of South America, which culminated with the first jazz concert for young people at the White House, hosted by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.

Includes entertainment and hors d’oeuvres. Ages 21 and up. Advance purchase suggested.

Food and cash bar provided by Log Rolling Catering.
