Expressive Arts Workshop
with Elisabeth Moss
1–2:15 pm or 2:30–4 pm • Makeshift Theater
Expressive Art is a playful creative process that uses different art forms (drawing, painting, movement, sound, etc.) to help reduce stress; invite mindfulness; and promote a consciousness of our interconnectedness with all of life. No art experience is necessary to enjoy this workshop as Expressive Art is more about exploration and self-discovery, and less about the actual product.
Elisabeth Moss, BFA, Certified Expressive Art Facilitator, is a painter whose work is created by listening to an authentic, quiet place within. She has been leading Visual Expression Art workshops since 2003. By creating a non-judgmental atmosphere – requiring no special training- we are free to visually “speak” and experience freedom, emotional unburdening, and the joy of our innate beauty.
4 pm Mindfulness in the Museum
Enhance your understanding of art and bring a greater depth of awareness to what you see. Join us for a mindful practice and exploration of art, inside the historic house.
