Simsbury Art Trail Opening Breakfast | May 18 | 8:30 am

The bacon will be sizzling and the Champagne will be flowing at our Champagne Breakfast to celebrate the opening of Life in Simsbury: A Public Art Trail, Friday, May 18, 2018, beginning at 8:30 at Ana’s Kitchen (formerly Peaberry’s).

Menu: Croissants, muffins, scones, etc., Fruit Salad, Poached/scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on sourdough, Eggs Benedict,  and much more!  And, of course, plenty of Champagne and mimosas!

The Opening Champagne Breakfast is the first of many special events surrounding Life In Simsbury: A Public Art Trail. A Garden Party and a Closing Ceremony Cocktail reception will take place over the next several months. The 32 life-sized bronze sculptures will be unveiled on May 14^th.

“Excitement is really building for the Simsbury Art Trail,” said Lisa Gray, Executive Director of the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, “The grand reveal is getting closer, and fundraisers like the Champagne Breakfast are critical for the success of the Art Trail.”

The sculptures, created by internationally-renowned sculpture artist Seward Johnson will be displayed in various locations throughout Simsbury until September 15^th.

Fundraising efforts are off to a great start, but much work is left to be done. There are still opportunities to sponsor the entire project or any of its surrounding events, make a financial contribution, or volunteer for this unique art installation that celebrates the little things in life in an extraordinary way.
