Litchfield Hills BBQ & Whiskey Special | May 26 | 5 – 9 pm
Join the Railroad Museum of New England as we embark on our first ever Litchfield Hills BBQ and Whiskey Special. For this special event, we have partnered with the Litchfield Distillery and other local businesses to bring together some of the best that Litchfield County has to offer.
This train ride will begin Saturday, May 26th at the Historic Thomaston Station, where a social hour with Bourbon will be held, along with a hearty BBQ appetizer buffet. From there, the train will depart on its trek to Torrington, stopping briefly on the Thomaston Dam for a toast overlooking the beautiful Naugatuck River valley.
Upon arrival in Torrington, a short stroll will be made to 5 Points Gallery, where Bourbon, sweets, and coffee will be served accompanied by appropriate music selections. A splendid time will be had by all, with plenty of time to enjoy Bourbon, sweets, and more Bourbon before re-boarding the train and departing on the return trip to Thomaston Station (which includes even more bourbon). This will certainly be a night to remember! Since alcohol is served, all passengers must be 21 years old or over.
Tickets are $99 each
