Yoga Nidra Workshop | October 21 | 4 – 6 pm
Yoga Nidra is usually referred to as “Yogic Sleep” – only you are not actually sleeping! The body is completely relaxed into a state of deep meditative consciousness. On this journey, you will travel through the 5 layers of the body (koshas)- physical, energetic, mental/emotional, higher intelligence, and bliss bodies. Each layer will fall away through this process and finally you will arrive to the bliss body – a total absorption into a deep meditative state.
You will leave Yoga Nidra feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and restored. . Just 1 hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of sleep, so imagine what 2 hours will do for your mind, body, and soul! This is a gentle, relaxing experience – anyone can do it, even those who have never done yoga before!
