The Valentine H. Zahn Community Gallery, located in the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Center at 250 Flat Rock Place in Westbrook, Connecticut, features rotating exhibitions of work by local professional, amateur and student artists. The gallery is open to the public during regular business hours.

About the Bar for Artistic Youth

The BAY opened in 2003 with the mission to provide quality art education to emerging artists in southeastern Connecticut. The BAY programs are an outgrowth of Sophia’s Rhode Island School of Design experience and personal education philosophy.Sophia believes that the skills & satisfaction achieved through sequential, hands on art education will never lose their appeal & their importance are becoming more relevant in an increasingly technological & virtual world.​Sophia has dedicated her life to helping young people develop lifelong skills in the process of “art making” & future opportunities in the field of art.
