David Dunlop Exhibit – Susan Powell Fine Art | June 1 – July 7

David Dunlop’s new solo show, “Natural Rhythms,” from June 1 to July 7, 2018, opening Friday, June 1, with a reception from 5 to 8pm to meet the artist. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

David Dunlop is a modern-day old master whose luminous landscapes draw from both Renaissance techniques and contemporary science. He is an Artist, Teacher, Lecturer and Emmy Award Winning television host and writer of the PBS Series entitled, “Landscapes through Time with David Dunlop.” David’s reputation as a painter who combines artistic skill, knowledge and enthusiasm, prompted the Metropolitan Museum of Art to invite him to lecture on 4000 years of landscape painting. His paintings have been shown internationally and are held in the collections of major corporations.

David’s work has been reviewed extensively; he has been featured in The New York Times, and galleries and institutions have granted Dunlop solo shows since 1981. His contemporary works bridge representational and abstract styles based on nature and New York City scenes, painted in his distinctive technique of oil on aluminum and copper, they appeal and are sought after by collectors of both traditional and contemporary art.

Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm, and anytime by appointment.
