Dreamland, USA | June 1 | 6 – 8 pm

Dreamland, USA is a collaborative art exhibition by Molly Jacobs and Amy Ozga. After a brief hiatus from manically making art during our undergrad, we decided to join forces in attempt to further motivate each other to produce work. Molly worked as a line cook in her local diner, while Amy drives an hour through rural NW CT to work in a small textile factory in Sheffield, MA. These job positions inspired new thoughts about America for the both of us. To challenge each other, we decided to hone in on specific concepts to collaborate and develop together. The result is an exploration of small-town America, food service, nostalgia, and social class. Exhibition takes place in Five Point’s new Annex Gallery run by Five Points’ Launchpad Artists.
