Katharine Gates is an oil painter living in Stonington, CT. Trained at Salve Regina University, Katharine holds a BA in studio art with a concentration in painting, as well as a BA in Art History.

She has exhibited in various galleries throughout Rhode Island, Connecticut, and abroad in Assisi, Italy. Katharine paints Plein air landscapes as well as live event paintings, where she aims to capture the authenticity of the people and places she observes.

After living all over the US as well as in several cities throughout Mexico, Pamela attended Hofstra University in NY.  Most recently she served as the Marketing & Design Director of Stanford University – ARTS programs. Known for her bold and eclectic style, her interiors have been featured in the NYTimes and on the cover of Colorado Homes and Lifestyles as well as on HGTV. She lives in Mystic with her Irish husband, dog and raccoon-hunting cat.
