Opening Reception – For Lack of Better Words | January 20 | 4 – 6 pm
The Washington Art Association is pleased to present “For Lack of Better Words”, a contemporary art exhibit curated by Zeb Mayer.
The exhibition includes the work of 6 CT based painters, (Ted Gahl, Polly Shindler, Eben Kling, Karl Goulet, Joey Loos, and Tyler Farmen) as an exploration of the variety of applications and subtleties in painting as a visual language.
On display until Feb 17th.
About WAA
Founded in 1952, the Washington Art Association & Gallery is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching our community through education, exhibitions, and special events.
Located in the scenic Litchfield Hills of Northwest Connecticut, WAA has produced over 500 exhibitions showcasing the work of both emerging and established artists from near and far.
WAA offers a diverse selection of classes taught by distinguished faculty. Student, faculty and member artists are invited to participate in annual exhibitions.
Special events punctuate the year with a festive Summer Solstice Party in the spring, a family Harvest Barn Party in the fall, and Holiday Fair for the month of December.
The Gallery is free and open to the public. Membership in the Washington Art Association & Gallery is open to all.
