The INSTRUMENTHEAD collection is a surrealist look into the soul of a musician, not through their eyes as with traditional portraiture, but through his/her instrument. It began in April 2000, through a candid moment in a photoshoot with the Derek Trucks Band, which sparked an unprecedented art project, bringing together more than 500 musicians from across the globe over the course of nearly two decades.

THURSDAY
Grammy winner Paul Nelson is recognized as one of today’s top guitarists/songwriters and producers not only having the distinction of being the hand picked fellow guitarist to the legendary rock/blues icon Johnny Winter but he has toured the world over performing and or recorded along side an endless who’s who list of top artists from Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy to Slash, Billy Gibbons, Ben Harper and more…

FRIDAY
Christine Ohlman & Rebel Montez will bring a hip shaking good time to our stage on Friday night. Just back from her yearly tour lighting up stages in Muscle Shoals and popping off the page of Micheal’s book, Christine adds star power and true soul to any event, backed by Rebel Montez and all the incredible experience they bring to the stage.

SATURDAY
InstrumentHead The Experience SUPER GROUP: This is the kind of magic that happens when artists get together with other musicians they love to play with. Fuzz Sangiovani, Cyrus Maden and Benj LeFevre of Deep Banana Blackout will be joined by members of the insanely popular band Turkuaz and drummer Eric Bolivar from New Orleans to funk-ify our stage and bring a rare performance to New London.
