Priam Vineyards Summer unWINEd Concert series continues Friday, August 17 with Frank Viele’s quadruple talents as singer, guitarist, songwriter and performer. Viele has earned recognition from the New England Music Awards for Album of the Year, Male Performer of the Year and Live Act of the Year. His vivid storytelling and unforgettable singing style have begun to captivate soul, jazz, blues, pop, Motown, and classic rock audiences across the country.

The concert will be held rain or shine, as there’s plenty of covered space for the show to go on regardless of the weather. Food will be sold onsite by Mystic Oyster Company, Pizza Pixie and The Classic Scoop; concert goers may also bring their own picnics.

Priam Vineyards is a solar-powered winery and sustainable vineyard nestled in the Salmon River Watershed area on the Connecticut Wine Trail at 11 Shailor Hill Road off Route 149 in Colchester. Frank Viele’s first album, Fall Your Way, dropped in 2015 and he was soon called to open for Will Hoge, Blues Traveler, Lee DeWyze, Zach Myers of Shinedown, The Marshall Tucker Band, and in his somewhat wonderstruck words, “artists who have been on my personal playlists for years.” On his newer album “What’s His Name?” Frank takes his experience on the road as a solo artist and weaves in pieces of his artistic journey into a new collection of songs.
